Jetha Nand Rahi.
Jetha Nand Rahi, a well-known profile in city hyderabad pakistan for his great work in educational department as a English master. He surely lives in heart of every petarians and Hayatians, each and every petarians and hayatians idealized and impressed by his hardworking and kind personality.
In 19,may,1952, he was born in one of the poor hindu family, of a small village, named Dengan Bhugri,which is 40 km away from mirpurkhas. He lived here and past his early life there and receive his early education in a school there till class VI and class VI to X from Tando Jam Muhammad, later passed FSC from SAL Government college, After clearing his FSC he started h his bachelor in English department from university of sindh jamshoro. At one side in his life he is doing bachelors his family took the decision of his marriage on 19 July, 1972 he got married with a young lady of age 16, named Sony anand. She is from village beerani, district sanghar. This forced marriage later became happily loved marriage. She really love and respect his wife, calls her home mistress with love.
God bless him with four kids, 2 daughters and 2 sons. He occasionally talks and write about his family about their siblings, wife, children and more often about their grand children. God bless him with 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters by from of his children but I guess Liyan is favourite among all his grandchildren. If I talked about his work life he started working when he was in Class V. His first wage was 25 paisa for a half day. It increased to Rs15, Rs50, Rs125 and finally to Rs200 a month in 1975. He started from Rs25 a day in 1962 and reaches to Rs133,00 a month or If I talked about the part he played in education of hyderabad sindh and proved himself as one of the best english teacher in all over the hyderabad. He gives 35 years of his life working in petaro on 21 sept,1977 as a professor of English language and retired on 15 may 2012 as a vice principal of Cadet College petaro.
He stated that "I taught here for 35 years cadet college petaro is a part of my body, mind, heart and soul"
After retirement from Cadet college petaro on 1 Aug 2012 he joined Hayat girls College as a former professor of English where he works with his university friend, Wahid Bux Shaikh. They both are very good friend since his university life they both did their bachelors together later they both work in cadet college petaro together for 32 years. Again destiny give him chance to work with his dearest friend. He worked in Hayat college for 3 years but in this little time he become favourite of all hayatians.
On 28, July, 2013 he moved to Toronto,Canda with his wife to live with his son. He is happy there..
He said I know it is very difficult to understand life. Life is not maths, 2 plus 2 are not always 4 here. And everyone should understand this..
For the best and happiest time of my life has been in classroom and with my students or outside the classroom with my students interacting with them, trying to guide and inspired them about life and studies and many times about personal matters too.
He said I had that wonderful time at petoro for 35 years and at hayats college for 2 years. And I really feel my self so blessed and lucky for this happy life. Thank you GOD and Thankyou petarians and hayatians you all made my life so happier.
Sitting here in Toronto with a 10 hours of time differences and 12,500 kms of distance, I have been trying to close Pakistan, Petatians, Hayatians,and Hyderabad and all my loved ones. The credit for this goes to WhatsApp, maseenger, YouTube etc.
Jatha nand rahi’s nature is too good and every student admired him alot. Students said he’s not only a professor but a good person and soft heated person who always there to everyone.
